Default ERROR Code ED64

Hi guyz, When I started up my car in the morning it, Service Engine Soon light came on. Just took my car to auto zone and they said its P0301 and printed me a reciept with following on it.

Definition:
Cylinder Missfire Detected-CYlinder Number 1.

Explanation:
The powertrain control module monitors the crankshaft speed and has detected a misfire condition

Probably Cause:
Ignition system fault-spark plugs, ignition wires, coil
Vacuum Leak
Injector Fault
High or Low fuel Pressure.

I am not even sure where to Start. Recently I installed new STEEDA pullies, i made sure its properly torqued. And where is cylinder # 1.

How did you check the error code? ED64 is not an OBD2 error code.

Powertrain codes are Pnnn, Body codes Bnnnn, Chassis codes Cnnnn, Network codes Unnnn...

I went into Test mode on our gauge display which I thought gave me the error code, not sure what it was. But Autozone just told me its P0301. I dont wanna take it to Ford as they will charge me a fortune.

Should I try to re-torque the Steeda Crankshaft pully and see if check engine light comes back, as its gone for now.

The instrument cluster diagnostic mode does not display powertrain DTCs (except one related to the speedometer drive)--they are all body and chassis codes.

Read more about the HEC diag mode here.

P0301 is signaling a misfire on cylinder 1, read more about that here...
