is this a smart move...
I have a 4-bank diablo sport chip... and i was thinking about going with rpms intake package, straight shot intake with 85mm MAM and the Accufab T/B and plenum. I wanted to get this stuff package and then get my car dynoed and the chip burnt after I put the intake mods on... do you think that this would be a good start.
Accufab 75mm T/b
Accufab Plenum
MAC Straight Shot (85mm MAM)
..then the chip burnt to those mods
Thanks

From my understanding, the chip is burnt w/ current engine upgrades, and then has a +/- ratio it works on after that...
Do you have a Tuner to go along with this?? Sometimes burning a chip alone won't solve all of your A/F Ratio issues that may come up..
Sounds like a good start though.. pretty much the way you're supposed to start the upgrade process...

00 Mustang GT - Back in Action, still too slow.....

from what I understand, you can burn the chip to your specific upgrades.. for example if you have 3.73s or a bigger MAM-I might be wrong but I thought that was what they did when you went to a test and tune...run your car on the dyno and they adjust your tune... maybe i am wrong but i figure that if i put the intake mods on before i get the chip burnt that it should help-and no i dont have a tuner.

How much do you think that I could gain from these mods?(25hp) and will I be able to run a 85mm MAM with that setup, or will it be too big? thanks

Looking at what you already have done to your car and the mods that you listed I would say that you might be able to get 8-10RWH maybe...... TB/Plenumn = 4-6HP, CAI = 2-3HP and maybe a couple from the tune. If you add a set of UD pullys you can gain 7HP out of them (That is what I gained, The car was dynoed before and after the install)
I have a 240 watt aftermarket amp, do you think that it would drain my battery if I put the pulleys in? and another thing, the 85mm MAM, wont make a big difference when paired the plenum and T/B?? I thought it would.... and if its free reburns on my chip-wont I be able to do the same thing as with a predator, illl just have to take it and get it reburnt whenever I add mods.
you can advance the timing with a diablo chip, cant you? I was just wondering b/c I am not sure what to tell them when i go for tune- never got one before..... what are the things they normally adjust for when you go to a test and tune
