Default Coilovers

Since I have Koni yellow race struts and shocks with maximum motorsports caster camber plates can I run something like the ground control sleeves on my cobra? I have eibach sportlines currently but I want to go lower. I had an e36 m3 and I know people do this with that, just wanted to see if anyone has done it with the mustang. Also, what are people running for spring rates on other coilover setups?

these are the sleeves I am talking about:
Mounted on Koni's:

Un-mounted:

Yes there are coil over kits that you can buy. Look at maximummotorsports and buy the kit. It comes with the springs. Call them up and tell them your driving styles and what you want out of it and they will tell you exactly what you should get. Top notch... For only a couple hundred you can have full adjustable fronts You are way ahead of the game since you have 4 bolt CC plates and nice struts that can handle the load. Tell them your setup and they will tell you what you need

MM will suggest the correct spring rates for your shock/strut choice. If they are Koni DA's then you have a massive range of rates to choose from.

FWIW... I used to run a 300# (f) & 200# (r) CO set-up on Koni Yellows and was wonderful for the street. Ride was very comparable to that of the Saleen shocks/springs/struts I had prior. They are not such a good combo for anything aggressive, such as AX or the roundy-round, so take this into consideration.

people run like 500-750 in the e36 m3 that I just sold... anyone running numbers like that? I want it stiff so I can run it very low... I will prob end up doing something custom. What is the diameter of the MM springs? 2.5id? That's the same as the GC coils and H&R, so those should sit flush with my C/C plates as well. I just need to find out if I can run the sleeves on my specific struts.
Run something like this out back:

Why would you waste your time doing something custom when you can just deal with products from MM and Griggs that are already track tested?

Just buy parts designed and built for Mustangs.... Don't build your suspension out of random parts.

I don't think your typical mustang designed suspension will do what I want to achieve.
