Default Cam Question

Hey guys - if you get new cams, is it necessary to get new PI heads too?

99+ then no. They already have the PI heads, but your cam has to be very mild as not to damage any valves and stuff.

You guys are correct. Stock PI heads don't offer a lot of clearance. You are definitely limited to certain specs.

You could do some stage 2's, so if all you want is stage 1's you will be fine.

Well not necessarily. It depends on the specs, and weather you degree them or not. One company's stage 1 might be more like another company's 2. The whole "stage" business need to be thrown away IMO. What cams are you looking at? In general most stage 1 type cams will drop in as is and be okay, but again it depends on a few things.
