Tinting
Yea my dad owns a car sterio and home entertainment business. And they do home security film, and windowtint cars also. And im one of the tinters. But most places wont tell their customers whats legal and not.
yeah everyplace grades the heat rejection differently. Where your friend got his they must be doing it flip flopped of the way we grade ours. But ne ways lets just say LIMO is not legal on any car except u have some weird eye disorder or youre putting it in the back window of a truck. But im done arguing about it lol. lets just say ne tint is better than none at all.
I live in FL and have 5% in back sides, 15% on door windows and rear window. Cops cant tell at night, and in the day I got my windows down
The tint place warned me and I had to sign some kind of agreement. Ive never been pulled over.
I would go with what you were thinking 5 in the back and 15 on the sides since it costs no more

I HAVE 5% ALL THE WAY AROUND AND HALF WAY DOWN ON THE FRONT WINSHIELD. IT ISNT LEGAL HERE BUT I HAVE A DOCTORS NOTE THAT SAYS THAT THE SUN GIVES ME UNBEARABLE HEADACHES... SO I NEVER GET A TICKET FOR IT.
IT IS TUFF TO SEE OUT THE SIDES BUT WHEN MERGING ON OR OFF I USUALLY ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW ALITTLE..JUST TO BE SAFE!
