The throttle body should work I beleive, for the most part its a direct swap, one difference would be changing from Coil Pack to Coil over Plug setup if u plan to go that route with the ignition.

So if you do the swap from a 96-98 to a 99-04 pi motor you dont have change out the ecu? Are there any other major changes or any change at all for that matter?

Also I have a procharger with the 96-98 mounting bracket. Making sure, but the 99-01 is the winsor block and 02-04 is the romeo right? So will my mounting bracket fit only on the romeo 02-04(if thats right) or if it doesnt fit to a newer motor can I reuse my 96 Timing cover since it is a romeo block? Or do all the timing cover bolt up the same way and its only the timing cover that are differnt based on the romeo/winsor head?

I know either 99-01 or just 01 itself has the differnt style water pump. Is it still the same housing to where if I wanted/needed to I could use my same style water pump? This being if I got a block with the differnt style pump?

Thanks

oh and Im sure I can, but asking just in case, but I can still use my 96 coil packs and plugs if I dont want to by the coil over packs, right?

And is there any tunning thats needs to be done or will the tune i already have for my 96 n.pi motor still work fine without any problems till i can afford a new tune? or do I need a tune so I can race it around?

again thanks
