it sounds really good up top but down low it sounds like crap (IMO). i swapped between X and H on mine over half a dozen times before i finally settled on the H just because it keeps overall sound clean.

its my opinion, when it comes to exhaust everyone has their own. your not going to get any definitive answer by asking this. go on youtube and type in something like "mustang X pipe flowmasters" and see what YOU think.

Oh and don't buy on what you hear about HP differences between the two (not worth factoring on a stock car)...buy strictly on YOUR sound preferance.

HA, I had O/R X and Magnapacks...talk about loud. But after a while I got tired of how loud it was and the fact it promoted something the car can't back up (being stock). So I just recently had some high flow cats welded in so now it's a catted X with magnapacks...still hear it but cleaned up a lot of the pop/rasp and is easier on the ears on longer rides lol.

I too HAVE O/R X but w/cats (A gay Cali thing) and mag packs and i get complemented all the time i once got pulled over by PD and asked what i had done? I told cop straight up and he made me rev a few times then smiled and drove off. The only thing that i can add to this thread is if you ever have anyone in the back, kids or no it's VERY loud almost too loud. Expect to see people turn there heads arround to see whats about to passes em up lol.
