what can i do to my stang next? i wanna break into the 12's n/a for now... and then add like a shot of nitrous later on and make it hit 11's. is this possible?

Try putting on some UDP's from Steeda as well as there Timing advancer. And hell if you want to spend some money buy a cam in..or four.

then i have appearance crap like a light bar from a saleen, chin spoiler, new white face gauge covers, shift ****, tinted tail lights, tinted tag braket, tinted windows and some other stuf.... but all that doesnt add hp we all know... all i could think is that the chin spoiler could maybe possibly add aerodynamics but i got it cause it looks awesome.


oh... if you mean at the track... i havent ran it yet... i ran it once when i first got it (stock) but i ran with traction control and i sucked as a driver cause i first got my lisence then... my time then was a 10.2 @ 74... that shows you i kinda screwed myself up the *** off the line. [:@] gonna take it to the track one of these days if i get off work for a weekend to run it. gonna see if we got a track open this sunday and maybe run it.

 

shocks, struts, steeda UDP's, then some cams and a prayer cuz i dont think this will get you into the 12's it might hit the high 12's maybe i think

 

10.2 in the 1/8? Ouch...

You are going to need a lot more to break into the 12s on the 1/4 then the mods you have now. 12s are pretty serious. You will be lucky to run mid 13s now I woud suppose.

Get a bottle...you shouldn't have a problem.

 

hmm... i was hoping alittle better than mid 13's with my current mods. thats what my truck runs. [:@] i know someone on here did a 12.9 with all my mods plus drag radials and some underdrive pullies. but that was a coupe too.....

i gotta go to the track again... im expecting mid 8's out of her..... it feels a ton faster than my truck so idk... i got better at shifting and crap from when i ran the 10.2 also. but i pretty much sucked off the line then... i did a 2500 drop because i was a idiot at manuals and with traction control on.. i learned that was a nono cause i had the slowest stang there.

 

i run pretty consisted 9.3's 9.4's w/my mods if that helps

 

oh yea i notice dyou live in tn what track do you go to? i need a new one mine (union hill) sucks everybody runs slow there
