Default quality projector headlights?

I always said i would never put projector headlights on my mustang but after my headlights got ruined i put my friends old pair on and they go well with the cobra bumper due to the round fog lamps. problem is the weather stripping is already peeled off and the fitment on the edges is horrible

does any one have projector headlights that have held up?
if so where did you get them from?

btw it is the ones with the two black bars going across the turn signal\
thanks

Go and do a retrofit on your old headlamps, only way to get a quality projector setup. All the aftermarket ones out there use cheap projector housings that result in sub par lighting, plus they look kinda bad.

well it wasnt the projectors themselves that i was referring to but the outside of the headlights such as the weatherstripping and fitment on the sides.

as far as light output and the projectors they are actually great and realy bright.

I am telling you that the light output of the projectors they use in most aftermarket headlamps are marginally if at all better than stock. The weatherstripping also needs to be redone with silicone. I also feel that most of them look kinda weird...

I'd still recommend projector retrofits to anyone looking for projectors, but if you wanna go that route then go for it. The car is yours.

When I did the retrofit, it was more trial and error than anything else since at that time retrofits for mustangs were unheard of. The results were well worth it. I will post up a link to a write up a friend of mine did.

Also, the success of the quality of the retrofit is dependent on the quality of the projectors and parts you use. Cheap parts = cheap looking/lighting quality.

I had aftermarket projectors for awhile.. but then got tired of the crappy light they emitted.

Someone does, but I am sure they'd be priced outside of what most people would spend on them.
