I love my T56. Wish I had a car with one sooner.

i have had zero problems with my tko3550. it's handled all my power and when i spray i know i'm over 500ftlbs. i have about 10k on it and it works great. only issue is over 6k it doesn't like to shift, it just requires slamming it a little harder/faster which is good anyways lol. but i've also heard good things about t56's. so imo, i'd go with a tko3550II or a t56, depending on if you need a 6th gear or if 5 will work for you. also the t56 is more $$.

i like my t56 a lot. the only thing that would make it cooler would be if it didn't have two overdrive gears. i guess it helps with gas mileage though.

How much of an increase did you notice when you got it? City? Highway? A comparison would be desirable with what you used to get and what you get now. I'm seriously considering buying one if the savings are really great.

I know a few people on this board that have had issues with
their TKO 500. Get the T56 you will be much happier with it trust me.

TKO is just a series designation--here a link to TTC's light duty transmission product page (yes, the T-3650, T-56, and TKO series are considered "light duty" transmissions)...

If you can save the coin the new T56 magnum spec seems promising.
