I have 04 gt and I am planning to tune my stang. I am just wondering if tuning hurt or affect engine or not.

A mustang could always use a good tune. What is done to the car?

mmmkay

tuning will lean your car and advance timing. your car will actually get slightly better gas mileage becasue these cars run rich from the factory and tuning it helps it to run more efficiently. is there a risk? kinda.... if you get a dyno tune it SHOULD be good to go off the rollers but some tuners are idiots. its not worth the money to get a dyno tune on a near stock car though. if you buy a handheld and load a 93 tune, you need to be careful for the first little bit and anytime you get heavy on the gas listen for detonation. the generic 93 tunes are still fairly safe on the timing and such but you still need to check for detonation.
