well as you can see i totally F***ed my ride. so i was thinking about steping up my game and getting a cobra. i had a question first though. can i take a 5.4 block and throw the 4 valve heads on it without to many problems? not that it will stop me. also would it cost me more to get the 4 vlave rebuilt? i would prob just forge the bottom end...

pretty much anything with a 4v is going to be more expensive then a 2v.

Originally posted that the blocks are not compatible, but I misread what you were asking, sorry. You'd be fine with 4V heads on a 5.4. I've seen the swap on two drag cars and they're fast.

haha i turned left when i shouldnt have. you should see the other car. totally fine. all they would need to do is swap a headlight and fix a paint the hood but its a 93 chevy lumina so it who even cares about the paint lol. thanks for the info on the block. thats fine. the 4.6 cobra is more then capable of some amazing power. as much as i loved my gt i am kinda looking forward to getting a cobra =]

Really? What 4V modular heads will not bolt to a 5.4 block?

yeah the engine is untouched from the quick glance i got at it. i dont know if the insurance will total it yet but im doubt that all that damage is going to be cheap to fix. both the fenders are trashed along with the whole front end as you can see. its alright man. i walked away without a injury and the other person is just as good. so everything is all good as far as i am concerned.
