I am also interested in this. Found a good price on new BBK Long Tube Headers. How is their quality?

I have the listed mods, and want to get longtube headers soon as well. I'm not sure how the Magnaflow Catted-X will work with long tube headers, I think I'll need to take the car to a shop to have the x-pipe shortened to fit the Long Tubes in. Anyone know anything about how this would work? How much would installation be at the least cost at a shop?

Ah, then your in the same boat as me.

I'm hoping the shop I take it to can fabricate something that will work. My thoughts are to have them put in new flanges at the spot the cut the X-pipe so that I can still unbolt them as necessary. Welding them might be a bit too permanent.

How is the quality of the pipes and the fitment?

Did you install them or have a shop install them?

hey.. ive got bbk LT's on my stang with a catted X pipe... they sound amazing! everyone tells me my car sounds badass and its the best sounding mustang they have heard. very deep rumble. the borlas do that. and then the LT's help it to. the X pipe makes it alittle more raspy. it sounds like a true muscle car and its still 100% street legal! i felt a big gain from headers on my car. felt just as good or better than gears and was well worth it. i can nail it from like a 10 roll and i will spin like a b*tch! also... i can now chirp 4th gear sometimes.
