Default Back from the shop

I had my car in the shop for a month. New head gasket, high flow water pump, new intake manifold, new plug wires, flushed radiator, shaved heads.

now my car had a jerky feeling on acceleration. Ideas? I feel like i have lost some power. Idle is smooth. Also the car is kicking when in 4th or 3rd gear and i ive it some gas to speed up, like its trying to accelerate or down shift but it just bucks and kicks.

that happened to me after my first intake cracked....make sure to pull your COP boots and see if there is coolant in any of the plug holes.

The milled heads shouldn't cause a noticeable change in timing.

My question is the shop let you take the car like this? They just did a **** ton of work to an engine and let it go running like **** after "fixing" it. Take it back to them and tell them to fix it and make it run right. They take the whole ****ing engine apart, it should run perfect when put back together.

it was knocking/kicking/poping today at idle.. its very random, anyway. the COP is the that. Ive never heard of a COP. is it called something else?

Coil on PLUG?

edit: Its time i put new plugs in it anyway, they could be fouled. I have BOSCH platinum series in there, its been long over due for new ones, even though they say that they last 100K miles I like to make it every 30K miles.

I would look into replacing your COP's and spark plugs and
go from there.
Bosch spark plugs are one of the worst spark plugs you could
possibly use on a Ford.
I recommend using Ford Motorcraft
or Autolite spark plugs instead.
O_O really. why ford specifically? I thought autolite was the Kmart brand kinda thing.

this shop was the WORST, said it would be a week to replace head gasket/shave heads. Ended up being 3 weeks. charged me $1,485. He told me he spilled coolant on the engine and it would be ruff until it dried.... this guy was so ****ing shady. He did recommend that my plug wires be THICK for best results, that the thin ones break or melt easy. I bought some new ones and had him put those one with the other installs.
