Default Overheating Issue

Hey everyone, i'm having an issue with my car running hot when i'm just around town driving. The minute I get on the highway and cruise at say 70, the problem is gone and the cars temp is below half on the gauge. Just wondering if there is anything I can do? any thoughts?

I think you're overheating because
you dont have a Centerforce Dual
Friction clutch for your Ford Mustang GT.

no it's not overheating, just running hot. i'm going to order a new t stat and a tune in the next couple weeks here when i get ready to put it back on the insurance. i'm actually thinking of getting some udp's and t/b plenum combo.

+1 I would say let your car run untill the fan kicks on (if it does). Because the temp is droping when you hit the highway it sounds like a fan issue. I had the same problem on my 95gt.

I agree with HasABetterSN on this one. Purchasing a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch will greatly reduce your operating temperature of your Ford Mustang.
