Default SCT Tuner code pulled

I bought my SCT X3/SF3 tuner about a week ago and I cant quit messing with it, trying to find a perfect setup for my car. It came Pre-loaded with tunes for my car thanks to BAMA tunes. But I went ahead and have been playing with the strategy tunes. But for kicks last night I went ahead and placed it on the 93R tune they had set up for me, and My car ran alot better, and pulled a little harder under normal driving when coming out of a gear. But there was a weird noise that came at around 2100-2200 Rpm. It sounded like a noisy throw out bearing kinda, "chirping Bird" sound. But it only did it at the precise Rpm. So I decided to pull codes to see if anything would come up and I got "P1000". I think the description for the code was, OBD system test was not complete, or something along those lines. Anyways, I went back to my strategy tune and the noise went away, as well as the code, and the car doesnt run as good as it did. What was that code for/telling me? Thank you for help.

that code means system not ready. did they shut off the rear o2s or egr? mines shut off so i get that cuz it cant finish the tests for these systems unless they were enabled, it doesnt harm performance or anything, idk what that noise is, i have tunes from bama and they are great

I had shut off the o2s so the cel would shut off. But it only does the noise on their custom 93 tune no matter the settings.

don't know. my 93 race tune from bama is amazing. sometimes, it feels like it isn't quite as peppy as usual, but on most days it feels good.

one weird thing for chris rose if he comments this thread-- i've been smelling a weird smell sometimes either after giving it some gas or being in, say 5th gear at 45 mph for a little while. it'll smell somewhat like propane or natural gas for some reason, don't know what it is...

Sound like detonation? Could just be a bad belt as well

p1000 is simply the car not completing all the readiness monitors. Take it for a long drive and it should clear itself

Were you running 93 octane fuel?

You need to run at least one tank full through before switching to a tune set up for 93 octane...

sorry it took so long to reply, its been a long work week. BAMA told me the code would quit appearing after 100 miles of driving or so. And yes I ran a full tank of 93 thru it before the tune was installed. As for the weird noise, when I allowed the car to warm up for a considerable amount of time(I'd say 15 mins on a 50 degree day) the noise wasnt present. I'm not too worried about it really, more so just extremely curious.

You let it idle for 15 minutes after starting it cold?

Do you not like your engine?

50 isnt really cold to me, Illinois gets much colder than that. Its was 30 today, after being 60 yesterday. I had also drove the car 2 or 3 hrs prior to letting it warm up.
