Default Subframe connector questions

First, anyone know a decent shop in Tampa, FL that can weld these in?

I went to a muffler shop today and they could not figure out how to get them in/read the instructions....I left...

When they brought me out to show me they would not "fit", I did notice that if they are welded at the ends they do not ley flat against the bottom of the car. The ends will touch both sub frames, though the shift cable will need to be relocated, and lays flat where it touchs the subframes. The floor pan appears to bow up slightly. Is this normal on a 96?

Oh, the bars are the full length ones from A.M.

Thanks

Yeah, the cars an auto. The shift cable comes down and is fastened to underside of the car with a simple braket (one screw). I'm at least the second owner, so I'm still finding things that have been done to the car. So this might not be in the correct location, but it is easily moved.

Any idea about the levelness of the bottom of the car?

My welder didn't have a problem putting my subframes in and he didn't have to move anything and they aren't close to my shift cable at all.

As Bramas said are you sure they are putting them in the correct spot?

I would lift your car up and test fit the subframes yourself to make sure those guys are doing it properly. And then if they are screwing it up don't take it to them to weld find someone else.

Did they do it on a drive on lift? Cause that is the correct way to do it not on a post lift. YOur supposed to have the car sitting as it would on level ground. the way the lift is postioned can flex the car and than your welding it in that position. See the problem? Ill fly down and do them if you wanna pay for my plane ticket? I need a vacation anyways hahaha.

Link is a pic of the cable in question. I know it does not go there, and I can relocate it/figure out where it's supposed to go.

Just went out and put each one in it's location. They line up with the subframes perfectly. The cross bar that attaches using the seat bolt barely touches the ends of the bolts. Normal?
