Tell your mechanic to hop on the site.
so your saying there is no way to get 430 hp just from engine work? and i think its at the crank he was talking about i kinda screwed that up in the original question, i was just looking for some help, didn't mean to make a big argument.

that'd still be like 340 at the wheels with an auto using a 22% drivetrain loss. unless your running trick flow TFS heads, i think you'll come up about 30-40 HP short. with a 5 speed, 18% loss, thats like 355 rwhp. sorry but it aint happening, i think the highest i've ever heard a Naturally aspirated 2v mod motor was like 330 (through a manual) and the amount of work and time that went into that motor was rediculous and IIRC was running some nasty cams and trickflow TFS heads which are a boatload of cash to start.

dunno any decent person who speaks in "BHP" we aint civic owners tryin to over-rate our cars now.

With the mods listed you will not even see 400bhp, the end.

To answer your question: Even if you get to 400rwhp, your trans SHOULD hold up.

Sidenote: Can I have the name/location of this mechanic?
