Default My trip to the dyno!

It was my first trip to the dyno!! Woo that was fun! Tuners name was Andy. He was very helpful and receptive to my excitement. He let me do the driving!

So, first off let me inform you that I'll be selling my Diablosport tuner and I'll explain why.

The car made 275/271 on the dyno. It was a mustang dyno an it actually read 302/298 but they have a way to calculate the overestimation. So at any rate the DS tuner actually has my timing advanced nearly 30* at WOT which was causing detonation which caused my knock sensor to go crazy.

He said we could do a custom tune on the DS tuner but it would be worthwhile to get an SCT so he can custom tune that instead.

A/F ratio was fine. He said that the numbers were pretty high for just a few bolt ons. He was impressed! I was impressed!

So it was a fun experience. I will be getting the SCT and going back soon for a more in depth dyno sesh.

MODS:
DS Predator
C&L intake w/ K&N filter.
65MM BBK TB
BBK O/R H Pipe into flows
4.10 gears

Very cool! It's fun to watch your car on the dyno for the first time. I didn't realize how loud my ride truely was till i heard it at WOT on a dyno.

Those numbers are really good for your mods, I would expect 260rwhp.

@ uber - I can only attribute it to how clean the engine is inside. 75k miles too.

@ gears - Yes. I don't have any serious plans as of yet. But a supercharger is definitely in this Cobras future. I want to put a roots on it very bad. I have considered Tryin to get a top end kit from a 03/04 and all supporting parts. Unfortunately I brought the idea up here to the MF'ers and they quickly shot it down. So a possible Kenne Bell kit. $$$$
