E85 Conversion
Anyone have any experience with these White Lightning plug and play E85 conversion kits?

they dont exactly specify on their website exactly what the hell is even included in the kit, i'd steer away... their youtube account and video has been deleted because of copyright infringements...
their actual manual just shows some "magic black circuit board box"... for e85 you'd need a proper tune to account for the extra 25-30% fuel required. not sure how it would affect any seals or stock motors. you could potentially require bigger fuel injectors (since you need more e85 than gas each firing) and possibly a new fuel pump. i'm not sure how the stock pump would hold up to e85. fairly certain it wouldnt be good, and a pump designed for e85 would be cheap insurance.
any reason for considering e85?
again, i wouldnt trust that company.

Really wasn't. My son and I were having a few brews out in the shop the other night and the topic of E85 came up. I did a bit of research later and concluded that it just wasn't worth the hassle. He sent me that link and after I took a look at it I called shenanagans. Reminded me of some of those old JC Whitney fuel magnets and such. Thought I'd see if I could show him a few other opinions. Thanks for the reply.
