Default super charger help

I am looking to buy a centrifigul super charger for a stock 2002 mustang gt. What would need to be done in order for me to get the engine ready for a super charger? I also would like to know about the different types, and which is better and why? thank you

The stock engine will handle the supercharger just fine as long as you dont go over about 400 rwhp. You will need to upgrade your fuel pump and replace spark plugs, fuel injectors and MAF. You will also need a good tune. As far as which one is better, there are all kinds of opions on that. If you search this forum, it is loaded with info. Good luck with your build.

Thanks a lot man. I am looking at the vortech and procharger and I think im leaning more towards the vortech. What type of plugs injectors and such would be good for this?

It is going to be a daily driver for a good 3-4 years while I'm in college. Then I am turning it into a weekend warrior/track car. I don't want anything crazy. So for now I was wondering if the set up to run the supercharger would hurt the car without the charger, or help it. If it helps it than I will run that until I save up money for the charger.

Honestly, if you can afford it i would buy a Kenne Bell. The power band of a twin screw blower is much more fun than a centrifugal.
