Default Good mods for an automatic?

So i have a 1996 gt, the car has really come a long way but now its time to speed it up a bit haha

the car isnt slow but its not fast, its a quick and I am just looking to make it alittler quicker.. right now it has:

3.27 gears
Flowmaster 40s
K&N intake

The things i have planned:
I need two new rear tires, but after that haha
A tuner
Pypes O/R Xpipe
Underdrive pulleys

And i guess im just looking for some input...thanks!

On the cheap: Gears, lowering springs, and TB & Plenum.

For more $$$: Cams, P&P PI swap or TFS Twisted Wedge heads w/matching Track Heat intake.

gears, gears and gears. will make a huge difference. 3.73s to 4.30s if the range everyone is going to suggest. shift kit mentioned above is a great idea too.

Do the tuner and x pipe, and ditch the udp's for some gears.

Having had a TransGo shift kit AND 4.10 gears, I say don't get the shift kit, them mixed with the gears caused me the loss of 1st gear during daily driving. I had to start in 2nd for around town driving. Just regear to 4.10:1 and make shift adjustments with the handheld tuner. My brother's '99GT was able firm up it's shifts quite well with just the tuner.

4.10s or 4.30s and a nice stall converter should be FIRST mods IMO.
