Default Dragging feeling while accelerating...

So ive recently started to notice a feeling like my car is being held back while im accelerating(mainly when im pushing it), i know i need new tires, cause mine or getting very bald, so im assuming that is it because the tires are not gripping..does that sound about right?

How hot are your breaks getting? You could have a messed up caliper where your breaks are always engaged.

my brakes seem to be alright, i drove it accelerating at different rates yesterday, and the only time i ever feel the draggin feelng is from a dead stop and putting the petal to the floor..the amount of the times I drive like that is almost never... so its not THAT big of a deal, but I am thinking its the tires

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe a frozen caliper.
Quite common on the Mustang GT for the back calipers to freeze up.

@ OP look and see if you rotors in rear are wearing funny or uneven.
