Default Question about my HIDs

When I ordered my foglights, I didnt get the relay harness. I was told it was only required for the BIxenons that I have in my headlights. I have a relay for the headlights. My fog lights, when they come in, didnt get ordered with a relay harness. Do I need one? I have been using my headlights with it for a while now. I was reading around other forums and they were saying that without it you may mess up the whole electrical system in the car? Something about dedicated fuses?

Edited this since original post btw.

All you need is to plug in the connectors to the existing foglight plug. I have the same set up as you but cant seem to get my headlights to work....

Maybe you have a bad ground on your relay. I did. I just scratched some paint off the area the ground was above and it worked. So I don't need a foglights relay if I already have a headlight one?

Not all hid setups need relays however is advised since it's the best way to wire up hids in a non ballast using car. Most will just have you plug directly into the ballast, a wire that comes off the ballast to your harness, or a wire you plug into the ballast that goes into your oem harness.

You'll be fine plugging the hid's directly into your foglights.
