Default Dyno Sheet

Well, im not exactly happy but its a untuned dyno. Heres the thing though, this was done at school as part of an induction lab so this is the baseline w/ the stock intake a dirty K&N filter, and the intake housing w/ the snorkel. Hopefully on wednesday I will get the dyno sheet of my run w/ the tunable inductions fenderwell kit. Also looks like the rev limiter should be pushed back!

Those are some good numbers. At first you said school, and I thought to myself I wish I had a dyno in high school. Then I saw it looks like you're going to UTI.

Ya, that thing is old school. I guess the numbers are ok, hopefully the intake will help out and maybe I could get the rev limiter uped by the next dyno day (wednesday) and squeeze maybe 285-290 out of it.

Hell, I made 280 with a crappy tune and no ported heads. You should be able to hit 300 with the ported heads at LEAST.

Definalty raise the limter though. So long as the new shortblock can handle it it looks like there is quite a bit more power there in just revving more.

What kind of torque did you put down? Mine seems extremely low to me. The port job on these heads looks like someone took a dremel to them, the guy I bought them from said it was a "mild" port job. I think if I was to raise the rev limiter, I would have to change the springs. Don't think the stock ones are going to do the job. Also I think if I was to go and do that then I'd prob really benefit from a stage 2 cam.

300 Ft/lbs. My peak torque didnt change at all. I didn't see the torque gain past 4K like everyone else seems to, but I think my stage 2s are only really coming on right around redline.

You will def need to change the springs to rev it farther, but if you can do it yourself its only a 200 dollar job. It does take a ****load of time, and you will need a specialty tool to get em out and back in. However, with your setup I think it would be worth it. Them forged pistons/rods arn't doing you any good unless you are spraying it or reving the **** outta it (or both ).

Ya, I def plan on thrown some spray on it but a few other things need to be takn care of first. Especially subframes, some new tires, sct xcalibrator 2, then i think some stage two cams and springs would sound good.
