What brand of connecting rods and pistons would be strong enough to use to achieve a 500rwhp car?

I keep hearing/reading Manley rods. I've heard of Mahle pistons being used in s/c applications.

Eagle, Mahle, Manley, Probe, DSS. They are all good.

diamond too, but for such a low application, I would get the cheapest, which I BELIEVE is Mahle...or Manley, i know it's one of two. (i'm talking about forgings offered by VT Engines). I dont know anything about probe, dss, etc.

H beam rods are stronger and I beam rods are capable of more rpms.
If you're blowin the engine, go H beam
N/A...I would say probably I's strictly so you can take advantage of a high revving cam.

Ok, one more question. What would be a good compression ratio of a piston if im going to be blowing the engine, and want to obtain 500rwhp?
