just threw a po136 code. help please
i have a 03 gt with bbk headers o/r x pipe and slp lm1 catback. i have had the car for about a month with no problems, until today i got a po136 code . what do i need to do? what does this mean? thanks also auto zone gave me 2 more receipts with 2 more codes, i think he was cross referencing the codes, so here is the other codes, p2270, p2271.is it going to hurt driving the car?

The internet says:
A code P0136 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty O2 sensor leak in exhaust close to O2 sensor, faulty O2 sensor is the common cause.
Short to voltage on O2 signal circuit
Open in circuit resistance caused by corrosion in connector
Possible Solutions
Replace the second oxygen sensor on bank 1
Repair open or short in signal circuit
Clean corrosion from connector

Those are normal codes because you do not have catalytic converters, and I suspect there may be a malfunctioning MIL Eliminator (or bad wiring) on the passenger side rear sensor...
Here is what the shop manual says about P0136, P2270, P2271 has the same potential causes. They are both pasenger side rear sensor codes.
It is OK to drive the car as all the rear sensors do is monitor the cats, however you will likely not pass a emissions test, if they do that where you are.
You can make your own MIL Eliminators for $7.50 or so, however they do require installed and functioning rear O2 sensors.

check to see if you have antifreeze in any of your spark plug holes if so you manifold is leaking thru gasket. Thats the exact same code I got come find out antifreeze was leaking into the #1 spark plug hole.
