Yeah it was bad news.

Anyway. My car was predator tuned before I got it, and by looking at the last settings of the tune, it seems that the rev limiter was set to 6050rpm. I feel a lot better now.

Does the car drive and sound OK now? Purpose of the rev limiter is to prevent damage from over-reving the motor.
