Unhappy Help, Starting problem!

I have a 96 mustang 4.6 I pulled the engine and rebuilt it. when i put it back in all itl do is crank. the theft light does flash so i know its PATS. but the ABS light stays on also no check engine light. Ima mechanic so i hooked up my scanner and it wont even read the computer. Ive looked at the wiring diagram on alldata and hooked all the grounds up right. Also my fuel pump runs continues when the key is in the on position. Ive got 7-10k into it and now its just sitting. Please anyone have a suggestion let me know, the dealer just told me they wont even look at it.

Well, i would say if your scanner wont even read your computer it would lead me to believe the computer is toast. Stupid question, but you dont have any blown fuses do you? I would start with the ECM and go from there myself.
