Default Traction help!!!!

I have already had a post on traction and got a lot of drag radial answers. I am thinking of going with the BF Goodrich tires. I have read they hook real great with just a good turnover and clean them off but dont do so good in the mileage dept. I also read the Nitto 555 hook good but you have do a decent burnout and they last a little longer. Does anyone have any experiences with the M/T drag radials. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Plus if anyone from AL knows where to purhase any at please let me know. I am going tomarrow so I need something tonight. Thanks

I had mt drag radials and they sucked [:'(] horrible rain traction. i lost control of my car twice going 45. imho i think the 555R tires are better all around. Good rain traction (never had a problem loosing control) and they hooked good enough to break my stock axles lol.

Well duh the M/T drag radial was nver meant to used in the rain, it is however THE best hooking drag radial on the market, it uses the same compuond rubber as the on ET Drag slick, their big downside is that they wear fast. The Nitto drag radial or 555R is the worst hooking drag radial but it also lasts the longest. The BFG drag radial is kind of in between the two for tread wear and hooking.

Im telling you, if your getting the mt's on your stock rims for everyday driving dont do it. There horrible in the rain, not worth getting into a accident. Oh, and about mt being the best dr,i have to dissagree. with the nittos i barely turned them over and they hook amazingly. i was pulling 1.9's with no suspension mods, compared to the mt's 2.0's [&:]. but thats just my opinion.

I just bought a set of Nitto's but don't have them on the car yet. I'm waiting to get my car back from the paint shop. I put on a new Boss inc. hood to help cool my Vortech. With my regular street tires that are even 315's my car would redline spinning if I floored it.

I did stop by the paint shop today and the new hood looks Boss. Can't wait to get it all together.
