Default Problem?

When i get to 40-50 mph and i get off the gas, the back wheels shudder, but not always, my uncle says it might be the differential from when the gears were put in. Anyone know what this could be?...thanks

The back wheels feel like they bounce for about 1-2 seconds, then it stops

Losing traction? Bad gear install? Do you have an auto or 5-speed?

Engine mechanic and transmission mechanic are two different things as far as Im concerned. I would suggest having a qualified transmission shop checking your transmission and see if theres a lot of metal shavings in it. If that checks out OK then you could narrow it down to your gears for the most part which would just give you an excuse to upgrade to a real mans gear 4.10!

If your not flooring the pedal from every stop there shouldnt be that much of a difference from what you have now.
