I have a 2000 Gt stick and I am going to be getting a 2001 Cobra 4v motor for it very soon. I was wondering what type of headers i would need for this motor. Will the 99-04 GT headers work or do i need to get a different year/make. All helpful input is appreciated.

Im 90% sure you will need headers for a 4V as the heads are different on a Cobra engine.

4v headers are different than 2v, 2v have circular runners, 4v are oval.

I am from South Plainfield however i am now currently in North Dakota...

As for the exhaust. so if i were to order headers for say an 03/04 cobra they would work on this 01 motor? just askin cuz the ones i want dont have any selection for just 01 cobra..

mcguire AFB. been here since 2006 and hating every day of it. only benefit is my job takes me outside the country 200+ days a year lol.
