When was yours made, it is not unusual for things lake paint colors to be introduced late in a model year, and not appear in the published factory specifications...

[edit]

It appears to be an error in the Mustang Red Book, I have found others over the years however I cannot fault Peter Sessler as compiling it all was quite a project. I just updated the '99 to '04 extract on my page...

God I love this website... I was sold mine as a premium model and never knew why. The only thing the salesman could tell me was it increased the book value. Huh, some salesman. Thanks guys...

And what is your source for that statement, that there was no Premium package in 2002?

most ford dealerships couldnt tell their v6 'stangs from their v8's without lookin at the sticker. just because its not listed on the sticker doesn't mean that they didnt have package breakdown options. more than likely the dealership was ignorant and just slapped a generic sticker on the window.

i'd trust cliffy's info more than i'd trust any ford "dealership" sticker.

no 2002 had premium packs. no window sticker showed premium or deluxe but in all other years they did. so they slapped generic window stickers in all 2002? ha right
