ABS light on

Default ABS light on

I dont even know where to start. is there a fuse for this?

check your brake fluid, if its too low, the abs light comes on.

if thats not the case, one of your sensors is pooched.

There can be several reasons that the ABS light is on.

You have 2 fuses, so check them both. A 25 amp one, under the hood and a second one, of like 5 amp or something, under the dash.

If you have a different diameter tire at ANY, but not all corners, this can trigger the light as well.

i have 215, 55s so yeah how do I reset the thing.

fuses checked out OK. is there a meter that will read codes like a check engine light meter? i see the thing that says ABS system test next to my fuse box under the hood

The codes can be read through the OBD2 port, with a reader capable of reading them of course. However most inexpensive ones (<$150) cannot as the ABS, GEM and airbag modules communicate over the ISO 9141-2 K line on pin 7 of the OBD2 port.

The PCM uses J-1850 PWM protocol through pins 2 and 10, this the only port most codes will read on our cars...

pretty sure the parking brake comes on with low fluid? ABS is probably a sensor, or put a piece of electrical tape over it
