Default power window problem

I am having a bit of a problem with the power window switch on my drivers side and was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it.

Here's the issue: some of the buttons on my driver side are not working. the lock/unlock switch works fine but the two window switches really don't. the switch that controls the driver side window does not work at all.... and the switch that controls the passenger side window will let me roll it down but not up.. however the switch on the passenger door will roll the passener window up and down fine.

thanks in advance for the help.

this happened to my car once. just hold the driver side window button in the up position while you slam the car door shut and it will work fine..

Umm, replace the switch? Make sure the switch is getting power, and see if power is coming from the switch.. If not, replace it. Its not hard to test

Default 98 Tang Driver Side Controls Do not work

I have the same problem. Few Weeks ago i parked my car in sun and it was hot and suddenly all the controls on Driver Side stopped working. Passenger side only lock/unlock works but window does not. In the evening they start working again. Few days later same thing happened again. This time they will work when door is closed and not when door is open and now nothing works. My windows are stuck halfway .
I read about slamming the door and/or slamming on the speaker! I tried and it did not work for me. Any one has any ideas please...
Thanks in advance!!
