Nonsense--there is nothing about that engine that could even come close to 400rwHP, 210 to 215 would be a push.

Here's what a 400HP (flywheel, 340rwHP) 4.6L 2V looks like:

Haha its not non-sense at all, just because it doesn't look it doesn't mean it isn't. It doesn't have to be pretty haha. A friend of mine has a nice looking Firebird that makes 380 to the wheels and it beats it just fine.

I'm not being the Teenage kid who gloats about his car being fast or anything lol. I'm just simply saying looks don't mean much, I know the power is there and I know it can beat my friends Bird which we dyno'd at 380 and I was there to watch it lol. This was about a Shifter, not the Engine/Car. Haha.

Simply put, it can't be that high because it appears to be 95% stock. It's incredibly expensive and difficult to get a 4.6 over even 300hp to the wheels NA. To get up to 400 you prety much have to have a supercharger. In fact, I'd bet the dyno was taken when the car had a supercharger on it, and the previous owner removed the supercharger and sold it separately.

Here is what a 450 flywheel HP engine looked like in 1998 My old 406 SBC in my 84 Monte SS.

I miss the hell out of that car. Hijacking this thread because its already off topic (shifter question)

Sometimes reality checks come across as an attack. Why don't you get a picture of the shifter?

For the record, you brought up the engine issue in your first post:

"My father and I have a 1999 Mustang GT 35th Anv. model with a 5.0 in it I believe, I sadly have no clue."

and in post #4:

"And its not the 4.6L. It has a completely different Engine in it..."

Sadly, the fact is that it is a 4.6L 2V; and I'd wager a dead stock 4.6L 2V...

So stop getting all snotty--I know I for one would like to be educated, because I sadly have no clue, as to how one attains 400rwHP out of the stock 19lb/h (orange) injectors¹:

----------------------------------------------------------
¹ - BTW even if operated at 120psi fuel pressure the stock 19lb/h injectors would only be good for 385rwHP. In fact, Ford replaced them with 21lb/h (lavender) units in late 2002 because they were slightly undersized for supporting the claimed 260 fwHP.

I basically have a built 98gt with the 2v engine with ported and polished 04gt heads cams and alluminum intake running a 10.5:1 compression with cold air intake, 93 tune, 4:10 gears, 160 degree thermostat, full exhaust, and I'm only making 281hp 318tq to the wheels. Please tell me how u got to 400 to the wheels?? Also since I only have 281 to the wheels my car is running too lean cause of the stock injectors. Can't pump enough fuel through. There's no way you could get close to 400 with stock injectors.
