Default CEL Codes. Very confused

I got a CEL a month ago and went to go check it out today. Can someone help me decode?

P0171 Bank 1 system too lean
P0161 (bank 2 sensor 2) o2 heater circuit
P2197 (O2 sensor signal stuck lean) Bank 2 sensor 1
P0141 (bank 1 sensor 2) o2 heater circuit.

What does it mean by being stuck lean?

Had similar codes and it turned out to be bad gas, sounds like a bad sensor to me
maybe someone with more experience will chime in.

It SHOULD be ok to drive, the PCM will just make it run really rich, so you will probably see some power loss and gas mileage go down a litte

I looked at Cliff's chart and it helped but I still have some questions.

1. What is the appropriate diagnostic procedure? I looked up all the codes (besides the P2197, not listed) There are a lot of things that could possibly be wrong, according to Cliff's chart. Where should I start?

Replace your Driver's side front O2 sensor. It is reporting false values to the PCM causing it to believe that your car's mixture is lean when it is in fact not. Your gas mileage has probably recently taken a hit because of this. The PCM will react by adding fuel, thinking that its solving the problem. The problem doesn't actually exist in the mixture, it exists with the sensor.

Start at the top of the list--the possible causes are generally presented in descending order of likely occurrence.

P2197 is an extended code that is usually only readable with the Ford IDS, though some PCM calibrations will show it, and a few other extended DTCs, to a generic scan tool--it is the same as P0174.

As to the rear sensor heater codes (P0141 and P0161), as all of the sensors receive heater power from the same fuse, fuse #8 20A, in the central junction box. The various EVAP, and the EGR, valves are also powered by that fuse, so I would first check it.

It is not inconceivable that if it is blown it could cause the front sensors to report the lean condition, as a cold NB sensor will produce a low voltage signal the PCM will interpret as a lean condition. Below 650°F an NB O² sensor produces no voltage and is the electrical equivalent of a very high value resistor.

Thanks guys. The problem was the fuse lol. I replaced it and unplugged the battery and the CEL was gone. Drove the car for another couple hundred miles and it still hasn't popped back on. Thanks Cliffy!
