Default help please

So i found a v6 mustang for 1000, perfect for my project. I plan to pull the tranny, exhaust and engine out of my v8 mustang and having the coversions done to the v6 to drop my gt parts in. Is it worth it or should I keep looking for a gt that wont have to have coversions done and i can just simply swap it?

Not sure why that guy is saying it is not worth it. But if you already have the GT and are swapping everything into the V6 that is like the ultimate worth it scenario.

BraMas

shinobiblake's issue is his GT is totaled. His frame is damaged if I recall correctly so he's looking for a donor car to swap the drive train into.

yes, but I may have found exactly what I need. I found a 99gt with the interior, engine and tranny already pulled and ready to drop the parts into for 500$. My only question now is if my 2001 dash will fit the 99? thats my only problem I have atm.

I think there is something different with the speedo from 99 to 01-04... I think.

Even if that's the case you can get a plug & play gauge cluster for $270

So just the speedo would be different? Cause the WHOLE dash is gone so I would have to do all the wiring and installation.I'm wondering if itll fit in there, not so much on the instrument panel as I plan to custo it from stock. The only thing im having paid for is the mounting of the engine and tranny as i have no clue on that. I can take a tranny out I just cant hook it up lol.
