Default Intermittent starting problems

Have been having some starting problems lately, I turn the key to crank it and get nothing, no clicks, just nothing. Replaced the battery a few weeks ago, had same problem again, thoroughly cleaned some corrosion on cables, have not had problem for a few weeks. Today it happened again, found a guy to help me jump, started after awhile - got home, did it again, on the second try it started. Based on my earlier search on here, not thinking it is starter, those I issues all mentioned a click. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The car is a 2003 GT convertible, automatic

Could be the Alt not charging the Battery. The battery may run the car for a while till it dies, but not getting charged. I'd have both tested at an Autozone or Advance Auto, NAPA etc. I'm not sure that's the issue here. Could be bad cables since you talked about cleaning off corrosion.

Have pretty much ruled out Alt. Other than cables, is there anyting else that anyone can think of? Also, what is the best source for replacement cables? Autozone and Advanced just sell generic ones, Ford's are huge dollars last I checked - like $300

Check the grounds on the bottom of the car, there is one on each motor mount going to the fender, make sure they are tight

also check the connection going into the fuse box, make sure it is tight
