I did a forum search so I wouldn't make anyone mad about asking a question that was already answered but didn't find anything. We have a recently purchased 1997 4.6l 5 speed manual mustang. the U-joints went out causing the driveshaft and slip yoke to break. ALso damged the exhaust but that is a differnt discussion. I am looking in junkyards for the same year and engine size but haven't had any luck. Is there other models that will work? other years? any help will be appreciated. it costs $104 at dealer and $15 at junkyard!!!!

 

any 5 speed 96-04 mustang gt drive shaft and yolk should work. also try here:

Found one at a place called republic diesel.....weird place to find one but it was 54 bucks, not as cheap as a junk yard but I was having problems finding 1 anyway.
