Default Plenum
When installing the plenum to the manifold is there supposed to be a gasket between them?

Yeah, if I remember right it's plastic with a rubber bead around the middle. I would call the the rubber bead an O-ring, but it's not an o. Its shaped like the inlet to the manifold.
