My a/c compressor on my 04 GT went out in August.Just now got around to getting it replaced.The mechanic replaced the compressor and noticed the fan was unplugged.Plugged it in and went for a test drive.After a few minutes something was shaking under the hood.
He returned to the shop and found one of the blades missing from the fan.
When the compressor blew I noticed some broken pieces of plastic on the floor in the garage but could not find out where they came from.
My question is when the compressor blew what caused the fan blade to break off and how did the fan get unplugged.Also how could I be driving around for 4 months without overheating.
Of coarse you cannot just replace a fan blade but you have to replace the whole assembly.
