OK so I changed the hydro boost because it was leaking threw the brake pedal and I put the new one on and I had to take off a side block or piece that only the old one had because Ford says its a obsolete part. Anybody change this part only piece and bolt u have to take off the old hudroboost. The bolt also has a hole threw the end for the fluid and a o ring at the top of the bolt. Where the rubber hose goes on that's the part

 

Whoever told that is on crack. That piece needs to go onto the new unit. My new hydroboost did not come with that either, it is part of the line that has to go back onto the new hydroboost.

 

i did put that piece onto the new unit and thats where its leaking from, do you know where i can purchase that piece from then? i think on the side facing the hydroboost i might be missing a o ring???

 

Not sure where you can get that block. If it is leaking from that large bolt that holds it onto the hydroboost then get a new o ring. Mine came with all the o rings.
