Talking (Pics) Buying my first used car, a 96 Mustang GT, I NEED HELP!

So I am going to be purchasing a clean title 4.6L Manual v8 Mustang GT that is in good condition nothing wrong with it for 2,000 + a 700$ rifle I have.
The only problem is
I think the car is ugly as all hell and I'm hoping I can pretty it up
But I need more experienced people guiding me SO

Here is pictures and I'll explain what I want to go for.

Ok so here is what I DON'T like about it

I don't like the body style, It would look way better with a Body kit on it, I really love the buff look that the 02's get, Is there any Body Kit's I can buy online, Any that anyone recommends, Can I install it at home?

I hate the tail lights and head lights so I will purchase aftermarket versions of those, the 1-2-3 blinking tail lights, smoked. and then Halo headlights.

I don't like the white color paint so I will be getting it painted black

Most of all
I HATE THE TAN INTERIOR
Can I go to a junkyard and buy leather interior and swap it?
How difficult would that be? I want it fully blacked out on the inside.

Maybe also a different spoiler, A saleen 3 piece or an aftermarket thats not flashy and riceburnery.

Any suggestions, Advice, tips?

I already know what I'm doing to that engine :P

Hi, why don't you wait and get the body style and color you want for your car. You can change just about every piece you have mention. If you like the new edge body. Find a new edge body with the color and options you want on it. Good luck with your project.

Question

Welcome!
Not trying to be a smart-***(wife says I don't have to try, it just comes natural) but,why are you buying this car? Sounds like there is a lot more that you don't like about it than you do like. And you just dissed a fair percentage of forum members who own SN95's pride and joy. For the money you are about to dump into a car that you don't like you could buy a nice black New Edge model that better suits your tastes.

Having said that though,
I think this "Stallion" body kit looks absolutely amazing

Painted Black with Silver or Gray Fader stripe and accents would be ....how you say..ummm , "The Shizznet?"

There are a few threads in the forums about body kits and interior swaps that would be a great guide for parts lists and how to's along with some pictures of members modded rides. Good luck with your purchase.

Like others said - why are you looking at this car when you dont like the exterior, dont like the paint color, dont like the interior?

Find something you love, hating how the majority of the car looks will eventually fall into not respecting the car over time. Love at first sight does exist, and when you do it's real hard to see flaws in that car when you find it.

As these cars get older it's getting harder to find a clean, unmolested version. Some people like the way they look (except for the ugly wheels Ford put on them back then).

Find one that some kid already made "cool"

You need at least a 2" or 2.5 lowering kit, the factory ride height is rediculous. Also, 17-10.5 rear & 9.5 front "Cobra R Replica Wheels". 315/35-17 radials.

theres no point in buying this car if you basically hate everything about it. youre gonna spend all that money when you can use it buying the car that fits your description

Man how can you hate the sn-95 body style! I love the precious curves....Sounds like you are looking at the wrong car I'll admit I'm not a fan of that mixed tan/black interior that car has but the white looks good on the sn-95s
