It's more what I can afford BUILT. I don't like stock anything. He sent me a couple different quotes. From $1000, to rebuild mine with 10 spline, with the street internals good for about 400hp. And for $400 more you can go with the 26 spline. $1400 total plus shipping. Now for the STRIP/STREET gearbox. Starts at $1400 plus $400 shaft plus shipping $2000...

I would like to have my gearbox good for approx 600hp for future mods.. I don't know any other option of a BUILT gearbox I can put in my hands for $2000 that will handle future mods..

Hey man, I'm not judging you at all. I overlooked the original info about about the vortech you already have installed. I have a 2000 GT as well, but I've stayed very modest with mine as its a dd, and other responsibilities.
Good luck with your build, I'm sure it's a beast already as is.

I'd go with a t56 and save a whilelonget before I'd put money into a t 45 . 26 spline on T56 will require the same clutch you have to buy for. 26 spline t45 if memory serves me right. You can find em with the upgrade input for 1300ish if you look. Much stronger. And safer.

Keisler makes a built t45 to handle alot of power too, they call it the rs-500 or something but it is infact a t45 with different guts, should def be more than just a reman t45 with a different bell.

I have heard to many good things about the T45 source,,,, I think that's where my money's going..funny, I'm trying to spend $2k on a trans,, sent 8 emails, and only 2 company's reply.

Kinda a heads up on GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE,,, before you pay..Zac has replyed in 2 different emails,,, with all the info I asked for.

As for the other guys in the biz,,,YOU LOSE..
