Default Honeycomb Trunk Panel Insert

Hi- Has anyone bought one of the Honeycomb Trunk Panel Inserts from AM. I would like to know your pros and cons. My main concern is dirt build up behind the panel and the effect that would have on the paint. Thanks

Hey I bought one although I got one of the OEM Ford ones from someone off ebay for something like 70 bucks. It sticks on with double sided tape and sits pretty flush with the body. I don't think you really need to worry about dirt build up at all.

Fryguy22, thanks for your reply. I am on the fence still. I have a Redfire convertible gt and I just don't know if I would like it. I just feel that there is too much red in the rear and I want to break it up a little.

Plasti-dip!!!! Sprays on and can be peeled off if you ever get tired of it! Dries as a layer of rubber, no way anything will get between it and the paint and it won't ruin the paint itself.

I got the CDC one which is about the same mold where it goes on and it's about flush with the taillights and the poiint below the 3rd brake light, no worry about any build up behind it, only pain about it is cleaning it, gotta scrub a tad, but looks so nice and wouldn't come off if your life depended on it

Ford made an OEM honeycomb panel for New Edge Mustangs? What model had them? The 2003-2004 Mach 1s didn't.
