i JUST recently purchused a 4.6 gt mustang and now i see a light gauge coming up....ITS like a bottle with a fan insidewith water in it....is it the waterpump? well anyways how do u know if its not working? how much is it?? and is it a easy install?

 

I'm not sure what the light is, but I would check your coolant level and wiper fluid level first. Keep an eye on your temp gage as well!

LOL, when all else fails...talk about putting the cart before the horse. Funny how people use the crap out of their stuff then resort to the usage manual when it breaks. </P>


The light you are looking at is the coolant level warning light. It's probably just low. Sometimes when it's really cold in the morning mine will come on for a couple minutes until the car starts to get warmed up, then it goes off.</P>

 

From how you descibed it sounds like your seeing the traction control light....does the car bog down when it comes on? is the light green? if so thats just your traction control working normally
