Default To cam or not to cam?

If I drop in a new set of cams will I still be able to pass the emissions test in California?

As of now I have to put the stock tune and mid pipe on in order to pass. If these cams can't pass on the stock tune I can't put them in.

For example the "Comp Cams Tri-Power Xtreme Camshaft"

Thanks

Thanks. I just have to find them now and see if they are even worth the swap.

im sure they are.Even if you cant have an agressive cam they can still have good gains .

Heck, even if it doesnt have a carb #, if you can get a really good emissions tune and can play it off (no extreme lope) you may be able to pass in this situation as well

uhhh i'll let you know in a few weeks lol. I have comp cams 262 in my 03 GT and need to smog it by the 24th. I'm going to raise my idle up to 850 or 900 so that the lope isn't that bad.. it really isn't that aggresive to begin with though. It is at 750 right now.
