I checked and my dtc code is 5284 it for oil switch failure
can this switch do some harm to my engine can this sensor can cause other problems?
where is it located pleas help me.I also want to know what should be the fuel pressure on 99gt .

 

Dont worry about it. It'll come on and off. I think it has to do when you check it because I've had it on before and so has everyone else I know with a 2000 and 2004 Mustang and even MACH 1 so I wouldnt worry about it.

well, the oil switch doesn't just send the signal to the dash, but helps regulate fuel pressure. To all three of you: I'd have it checked.
