Default Headers for Cobra

I'm looking at buying Hooker Headers for a 2001 cobra. Does anyone know if this will increase my HP, and if so how much, or are the factory headers good enough? Thanks

What other mods do you have to go with the headers? Long tubes would be the best either way.

Yes it will increase your HP. Typically people see 15-20+ horsepower.

Te stock manifolds on mustangs suck, and if you are gonna pay the money you better get long tubes and dump the cats O/R X pipe with american thunder flomasters. That is a great set up and will sound unbelieveable.

people dont usually like the Flowmaster with the Xpipe. I have that setup on my car and i really like it. Im very happy with my exhaust, although Lt would have been better than shorties. But dont tell me or him that shorties are worthless. They really opened up my exhaust. LT>Sorties-Shorties>Stock

LT off road X and 1chamber flows is gonna sound beastly! Id really like to hear that.

Thanks for the info guys. Yeah, the only mods I got on it right now is the Borla cat-back exhaust.

Ok youre good then . Borola makes a very good system. There no need to change that. check on the Jet coated LT's and an Xpipe

Are the Cobra manifolds (stock) the same as the ones on GT's?
